Importer for the PDBx/mmCIF file format.

Parsing cif files in the PDBx/mmCIF format is done thanks to the GEMMI library.

Note that this importer does not yet support the creation of bio-assemblies.

If you want to import cif files for crystals you can use the cif importer provided with the Crystal Creator.

PDBx/mmCIF Importer is an extension for SAMSON,
the integrative platform for molecular design.

To use PDBx/mmCIF Importer:

1. Create your free account and choose a molecular design plan
2. Download and install SAMSON on your computer


When you restart SAMSON, the extension will be automatically installed
and will be usable directly from within SAMSON.
