This extension is an editor that makes it possible to generate a carbon nanotube in just two clicks.

Usage

1. Select the nanotube editor from the Editors toolbar (on the left side of the viewport) > ... > Materials.
2. Press and hold the left mouse button to draw the axis of the nanotube. Release the left mouse button when the nanotube axis is chosen.
3. Move the mouse and press the left mouse button again to choose the nanotube radius and orientation.

The status bar displays the n and m parameters of the nanotube, as well as the number of atoms it contains.

You may then use the Brenner Interaction model to interactively simulate generated nanotubes.
