This extension is an editor that makes it possible to generate a carbon nanotube in three clicks.

Usage

Select the nanotube editor from the Editors toolbar (on the left side of the viewport) > ... > Materials.

1. Click to select the start of the nanotube.
2. Click to select the end of the nanotube.
3. Click to select the nanotube radius and parameters.

The status bar displays the n and m parameters of the nanotube, as well as the number of atoms it contains.

You can use snapping to precisely position the nanotube, as well as use the editor GUI.

You may then use the Brenner Interaction model to interactively simulate generated nanotubes.
