To fetch structures from the RCSB Protein Data Bank, enter one or more PDB codes and the App will download and import (if selected) them as structural models in SAMSON.

To fetch structures from the AlphaFold Protein Structure Database, enter one or more UniProt codes.

This extension relies on two other extensions:

1. MMTF Importer, which allows fetching files in the MMTF format.
2. Gzip Importer, which allows fetching archived files, useful when you have a slow Internet connection.
