Importer for gzipped (.gz) files of already supported formats (e.g., .pdb.gz).
Importer for gzipped (.gz) files of already supported formats. With the help of this importer, you can open, for example, *.pdb.gz files directly in SAMSON - they will be decompressed and then a proper importer for the file's format will be used.
For the decompression, the zlib library (v. 1.2.11) written by Jean-loup Gailly and Mark Adler is used.
Gzip Importer is an extension for SAMSON,
the integrative platform for molecular design.
To use Gzip Importer:
When you restart SAMSON, the extension will be automatically installed
and will be usable directly from within SAMSON.
