This is an Assemble animation of 2XQ6. This short presentation combines several different animations: motion, camera, entrance, exit.

The Assemble animation is used to show the assembly of a pentameric ion channel (with C5 symmetry) in complex with cesium ion (Cs+). The Hold atoms animations are used to fix atom positions afterwards.

A keyframed Move camera animation is used to finely control the camera position during the animation.

Several entrance and exit animations are used to progressively hide and show visual representations.

Press Space to start and stop the presentation. Use the SAMSON Animator (Ctrl / Cmd + 8) to edit it.

You can also edit the camera controllers in the viewport.
